Position Summary:
Foresight Intelligence has an exciting opportunity for the right individual. Performs a wide range of job duties combining strong technical know-how to deliver customer centric products and support. Oversee new products from conception through launch and iteration. Act as SME on existing applications throughout the product lifecycle. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex projects, including providing direction and oversight of the day-to-day assignments of cross functional teams
  • Transform concepts gathered from customers/employees into comprehensive requirements
  • Assess and document enhancements as well as custom requests (both stand alone and incorporated in applications)
  • Assist in the grouping and prioritization of requests
  • Ensure that implementation of specifications meet requirements (internal testing)
  • Provide internal and customer training as needed on product and features
  • Develop written technical manuals/materials as necessary
  • Answer incoming questions on use of applications and data anomalies
  • Use SQL to gather and process data into useful information
  • Assess and address technical risk in write-ups
  • Attend conferences and meet face-to-face with existing and potential customers, as needed
  • Use SQL to gather and process data into useful information
  • Negotiate and communicate with respect to deliverables
  • Provide input in the development of the system architecture design
  • Participate in vendor selection as appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as required/assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience; MBA preferred.
  • Strong general technical knowledge, working within SQL based projects/SQL environment preferred.
  • Financial background/experience including working with accounting systems a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of relational databases.
  • Advanced SQL and Excel are required, VBA helpful.
  • Innovative and willing to take initiative.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, while directing the work of others.
  • Ability to work directly with customers, understanding and fulfilling their needs in a competent manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, results orientation and common sense.
  • Ability to follow through to completion both on your projects and those of others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
  • Bottom line thinking both in terms of profitability and minimum viable product.
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly, step outside your own comfort zone and handle unfamiliar challenges enthusiastically.
  • Enjoys work (overcoming obstacles is fun), loves to help people and can work well independently or in groups.
  • Experience in managing direct reports a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from worksite to another location such as customers office
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
